The Chevrolet Corvette (C8) is the eighth generation of the legendary sports car Corvette, produced by the American automobile company Chevrolet. It's the first rear-engine Corvette since the model's introduction in 1953, so it's a departure from the traditional mid-engine layout.
The Corvette C8 was introduced in April 2019, the coupe made its official debut on July 18, 2019 in California. The convertible debuted in October 2019 during a media event at the Kennedy Space Center to mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission. Production officially began on February 3, 2020.
