An RC aircraft model from the STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) category, which is able to take off and land in a very small space. Thanks to the large control surfaces, it also handles 3D acrobatic maneuvers and is an almost unlimited source of pilot entertainment. The high-plane concept is also suitable for less experienced pilots if the size of the deflections is appropriately limited.
The kit contains an almost finished STOL model of the Turbo Bushmaster airplane from EPP with a span of 1830 mm with an AC motor, a speed controller and fitted servos. Controlled ailerons, flaps, rudder and elevator.
The body of the model is made of EPP foam pressed into a negative mold. The space for the drive battery and receiver can be found under the removable cabin.
The two-part wing with a semi-symmetrical profile is also made of EPP foam. The ailerons and slotted flaps are controlled by short rods with two pairs of servos in the wing.
The landing gear is two-wheeled with high-profile tires that provide very good cushioning for landings and take-offs on bumpy terrain. The spur wheel is controlled by the rudder servo.
All servos are digital with metal gears. The installed 5015-550kV outrunner motor provides more than enough power. The Hobbywing 80 A speed controller is equipped with a UBEC 5 V/8 A power stabilizer.
You will need at least a six-channel RC kit to control the model - as long as both aileron servos are connected to one channel of the receiver. If you want to maintain independent control of both ailerons, you will need at least a seven-channel RC set.
As a drive battery, you will need a 6S LiPo battery with a capacity of 3000-4000mAh and a current carrying capacity of at least 30C. The cable to the controller in the model is equipped with an XT90 power connector.
