Plastic assembly kit of the British WWII bomber Bristol Blenheim Mk.IVF.
Template information
The Bristol Type 142, later known as the Blenheim, was ordered straight from the drawing board and was a very advanced aircraft for its time. However, by the start of World War II, the development of fighter aircraft had overtaken it. The Blenheim was nevertheless widely used by the Royal Air Force as a light bomber and fighter, and saw action on all major fronts during World War II. However, from 1943 onwards it was gradually withdrawn from service to be replaced by more modern aircraft that were less vulnerable in the air.
