About the manufacturer

The British company Albion Alloys supplies metal materials for modelers. The focus of the assortment is profiles, tubes, rods and sheets made of brass, while some products are made of other metals such as copper, aluminum or pakfong.

Range of goods

The products that the competition does not offer deserve to be highlighted. The Albion Alloys range includes very interesting small brass and pakfong tubes (available from 0.3 mm diameter), phosphor bronze strips (suitable for example for electric pantographs in locomotive carriages) and very small diameter pakfong rods (more like wires) (available from from a diameter of 0.1 mm).

Wherever possible, the sizes of the tubes or profiles are graduated in such a way that they can be telescopically inserted into each other with minimal clearance.

Packing method

All products are packed in bags, and the number of profiles or sheets in a bag is chosen so that everything can be divided into a few price categories. Packaging in bags also has the advantage that, unlike some competing products, it is not necessary to remove stickers from profiles, rods or sheets before work.

Very suitable for plastic modellers

Although these are metal products, the range is also very successful among plastic modelers who need thin wires and tubes, which they use to produce details. Some specialized products are even directly targeted for specific uses in connection with plastic models.
