1:24 Axial SCX24 Base Camp 4WD RTR (White)

The affordable 1:24 scale Axial SCX24 Base Camp RC model car with proportional (smooth) control is ideal for off-road and obstacle driving. Everything you need is in the package - a 2.4 GHz transmitter, a 2S LiPo drive battery with a capacity of 350 mAh and a USB charger. Driving time up to 40 minutes.

The model is equipped with multi-link suspension and 4WD all-wheel drive. This is an ideal car for beginners. Drive is provided by a Dynamite Tazer 180 88T DC motor with a gearbox. A high-quality Spektrum control unit and powerful servo control are installed.

Unlike other SCX24 models, LED lighting is not included, the body is not licensed and the shock absorbers are only spring-loaded, i.e. without oil filling.

Body

Base Camp's durable polycarbonate body is factory-painted and includes detailed decals. Licensed Demello bumpers add to the realism.

Licensed wheels and tires

Officially licensed Falken Wildpeak M/T tires provide excellent grip and are mounted on officially licensed Black Rhino one-piece wheels.

Worm gears

The front and rear transfer case is equipped with worm gears to ensure both the transmission of maximum power and the brake function when the car is stopped.

Front and rear solid axle

The front and rear axles are assembled from a plastic molding in which the drive steel shafts are mounted in ball bearings. For optimal handling, the suspension of the SCX24 is equipped with a 3-point front and 4-point rear suspension.

Splined drive shafts

The front and rear drive shafts from the central gearbox to the transfer boxes are splined, which enables their axial displacement.

Dynamite engine

The Dynamite Tazer 180 88T DC Motor is specially designed for 1:24 scale RC model cars. Together with the optimally adjusted gearbox, it provides the axles with the necessary torque for steep climbs.

Transmitter Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz

The Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz 2-channel transmitter offers a number of useful features such as throttle path settings and throttle control or limiting.

Package contents

The package includes an assembled 1:24 scale Axial SCX24 Base Camp RC car model with installed components: Tazer 180 88T DC motor, Spektrum 2-in-1 control unit (receiver and speed controller) and Axial AS-1 micro servo.

The package also includes a Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz transmitter, a 2S LiPo drive battery with a capacity of 350 mAh fitted with a JST PH 2.0 power connector, a 2S PH2.54 LiPo charger, 4 AA cells for the transmitter, instructions in Czech and a manual EN, DE, FR, IT.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of the RC car, you need tire glue and a set of allen screwdrivers. The model also uses screws in inch units, so we recommend a 1/20" Allen screwdriver.

The bead of the tire is glued to the rim with tire glue. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear.

Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, with the fact that even after hardening, the glued joint remains flexible. Do not use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening, and cracks would gradually appear on the tire around the rim.

For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor or the worm in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
