Body with official license
The model is equipped with an officially licensed Lexus GX 470 model body. The body has a mock-up front grille, rear-view mirrors, door handles, roof rack, snorkel and other details.
Oil filled shock absorbers
Shock absorbers significantly affect the quality of the ride, so the model has oil shock absorbers that allow smooth driving on uneven surfaces. The preload of the springs can be adjusted so that you can fine-tune the level of suspension according to the nature of the terrain.
Transmitter Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz
The Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz dual-channel transmitter offers a number of useful functions such as throttle path adjustment and throttle control or limitation. It is ergonomically designed for long periods of holding without fatigue.
Steel C-frame stringers
The SCX24 chassis uses robust C-profile steel frame members to ensure high rigidity and strength.
Worm gears
The front and rear differentials are equipped with worm gears that deliver high torque to the axles. Worm gears also ensure the brake function.
Front and rear solid axles
The front and rear straight axles are assembled from a two-part plastic molding in which the drive steel shafts are mounted in ball bearings. For optimal handling, the suspension of the SCX24 is equipped with a three-point front and four-point rear suspension.
Solid steel shafts
The high torque of the worm gear requires the use of steel drive shafts. Only they can transfer power to the wheels even on steep climbs.
Splined drive shafts
The front and rear drive shafts from the central transmission to the transfer cases are splined, so they allow axial displacement of the shafts while maintaining the transmitted power.
Four-point rear axle suspension
For maximum mobility, reduction of axle twist and elimination of torque, a four-point suspension design was developed, which is used on the rear axle of the SCX24.
Equipped with ball bearings
The model is fully equipped with ball bearings, both in the gearbox and in the axles and drives. You can ride without worrying that your ordinary sliding bearing will wear out somewhere.
LED lighting
For maximum realism, highly luminous diodes are placed in the parabolas of the front lights and in the front bumper.
Hinged body
The hinged body system provides easy access to the drive battery and control unit.

Accessories for normal operation
For the normal operation of the RC car, you need tire glue, silicone oil for shock absorbers and a set of allen screwdrivers.
The bead of the tire is glued to the rim with tire glue. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear.
Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, with the fact that even after hardening, the glued joint remains flexible. Do not use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening, and cracks would gradually appear on the tire around the rim.
For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor or worm in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large.
