High-end paddleless gyro unit for 250-800 model helicopters with integrated T-FHSS/FASSTest receiver and governor. Support for S.BUS2 telemetry sensors. Governor function for internal combustion and electric engines.
Option to set 760us and UR mode (1666 Hz) also for cyclic servos. Two operating modes: 3D and F3C. Setting using the GPB-1 programming card (also wirelessly) and now via the Futaba 32MZ, 16IZ, 26SZ transmitter. Metal box. Dimensions: 27×39.6×14 mm, operating voltage: 3.5–8.4 V, weight: 22.3 g.
High-end MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) sensors, extremely high data processing speed and an advanced PID control algorithm place it at the forefront of all gyroscopic systems.
Function:
- three-axis gyro, governor and receiver in one box;
- high speed and extremely low traffic delay of the control loop ensures higher stability;
- small size and light weight;
- easy setting and fine-tuning of gyro and governor settings and using the GPB-1 programmer (with a cable connection to the CGY770R or wirelessly using the teacher-student system with the GPB-1 connected to a compatible Futaba transmitter) or directly in the menu of a compatible Futaba transmitter (T16IZ, T16IZ SUPER , T26SZ, T32MZ);
- setting is divided into basic (Basic) and expert (Expert) menus; basic settings (accessible even for less experienced users) are used for initial settings and expert for advanced settings with a number of tunable parameters for very experienced pilots;
- upgradeable firmware;
- compatible with S.BUS2.
Gyro/Flybarless control unit:
- uses an advanced adaptive PID control system;
- simultaneous control of 3 axes (tilt, tilt, yaw);
- 2 selectable settings profiles for 3D flying and F3C classic flying/mockups;
- yaw (balancing rotor) capable of detecting angular velocity up to ±1000 °/s;
- compatible with 1520µs analog (70Hz repetition rate), 1520µs digital (280Hz), narrowband 760µs digital (560Hz) and UR mode servos (1666Hz) for balancing rotors;
- the direct coupling option allows the CGY770R to take into account other control functions during operation. This leads to more accurate corrections and more accurate operation;
- top control algorithm ensures constant pirouette speed, precise and smooth yaw control in all flight modes;
- developed specifically for flybarless helicopters;
- supports H3-120, H3-140, H3-90, H4-00 and H4-45 cyclic plate types;
- compatible with 1520µs analog (70Hz), 1520µs digital (95Hz, 140Hz or 280Hz), narrowband 760µs digital (560Hz) and UR mode digital servos (1666Hz).
Governor:
- uses an advanced adaptive PID control system;
- high speed and extremely low traffic delay ensures more consistent and accurate operation;
- makes it possible to maintain a constant speed of the carrier rotor in the range of 700 to 4000 rpm;
- compatible with 1520µs analog (70Hz) and 1520µs digital (280Hz) throttle servos;
- the choice of direct coupling allows the CGY770R to take into account other control functions during operation, resulting in precise control of the rotor speed;
- selectable governor mode or speed limiter;
- supports gear ratios from 1.00 to 50.00;
- a superior control algorithm ensures more consistent speed control;
- compatible with speed sensor for governor GV-1, supports tuning speed sensor for mounting in the rear motor cover and phase sensor for AC motors.
Receiver:
- switchable transmission systems FASSTest 2.4GHz (18Ch or 12Ch) and T-FHSS 2.4GHz with the help of the GPB-1 programmer;
- thanks to compatibility with the S.BUS 2 system, it is possible to transmit the receiver's supply voltage and data from additional sensors connected to the receiver's S.BUS 2 port to the transmitter;
- dual diversity antennas;
- the receiver can operate in a two-receiver transmission system with an external backup FASSTest receiver, or the internal receiver can be switched off and a pair of external FASSTest receivers with automatic backup can be used.
Other features:
- memory for maximum speed value,
- timer for measuring the total operating time of the engine.
Compatible servos
Gyro can work with both analog and digital servos (for both 4.8 V and HV up to 8.4 V power supply). The servo type is selected programmatically. It is compatible with 1520µs analog (70Hz), 1520µs digital (95Hz, 140Hz or 280Hz), narrowband 760µs digital (560Hz) and UR mode digital servos (1666Hz).
Updatable firmware
If a new version is available, the Futaba CGY770R firmware can be updated using the Futaba CIU-3 or CIU-2 USB interface.
