Green Stuff World - Air Dry Foam Clay – Modeling Clay White (250 g) - GSW8435646527543ES
Air Dry Foam Clay is a light acrylic-based modeling material that is characterized by excellent formability. It allows you to create detailed models of characters, weapons, buildings or accessories, but it is also great for modeling landscapes.
Unlike other materials, it cures at room temperature within 24-48 hours simply by exposure to atmospheric moisture.
Processing and properties
The advantage of the Foam Clay material is its flexibility and solubility in water. After curing, it retains sufficient flexibility so that cracks do not occur. The mass can be perfectly smoothed with moistened tools or fingers.
Foam Clay can also be used in conjunction with silicone forms. When modeling with the help of silicone molds, it is recommended to freeze the mold with the material, especially for larger models. This makes it easier to remove the casting from the mold.
After the mass has completely hardened, you can paint the model with any acrylic paints. We recommend applying a primer for better paint adhesion. It is also advisable to prefer elastic paints, which will limit the risk of cracks.
Note: For larger models, it may be necessary to freeze the model for the Foam Clay material to harden perfectly.
