Information about the Messerschmitt Bf 109 prototype
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German fighter aircraft, designed under the leadership of W. Messerschmitt at the Bayerische Flugzeugwerke company in the mid-1930s. It was the standard fighter type of the Luftwaffe throughout World War II. Information about the Curtiss Kittyhawk Mk.1A prototype
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk (known as the Kittyhawk in the UK) was an American single-engine, single-seat all-metal fighter and attack aircraft that first flew in 1938. The P-40 was based on the Curtiss P-36 Hawk. The time saved in development allowed for rapid production and entry into service. The Warhawk was used by most Allied forces during World War II and remained in frontline service until the end of the war. It was the third most produced American fighter, after the P-51 and P-47. By November 1944, when production of the P-40 was discontinued, 13,738 aircraft had been built.
