Plastic kit of the Czechoslovak single-seat all-metal glider TG-10D Peregrine / Let L-33 Solo.
Template information
The Let L-33 Solo is a single-seat cantilever glider of all-metal construction with T-type tail surfaces, the development of which began in 1989, under the leadership of designers Marian Mečiar and Václav Zajíc.
The prototype first flew in 1992, with serial production starting at Let Kunovice a year later. Since 1993, approximately 100 aircraft have left the factory. In addition to the Czech Republic, these gliders are also flown in the USA, Canada and Great Britain.
The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), the only military facility providing training on unmanned aircraft, operates four L-33 Solo gliders under the designation TG-10D Peregrine.
