Fully assembled RC crawler/expedition special with alternating FOC system and powerful power steering for advanced riders. The model is equipped with portal axles, two-speed gearbox with DIG system, lockable rear stabilizer, servo winch, etc. The set includes an eight-channel 2.4 GHz transmitter.
Since its launch, the RGT Challenger has won many fans due to its powerful configuration and excellent handling. RGT therefore decided to offer an improved version of this model.
The Challenger PRO is powered by Hobbywing's AC FOC system (WP Fusion BLSYS for Crawler-540 SPEC-RTR), which features high torque at low rpm and excellent linearity.
The motor runs smoothly and quietly, while having effective waterproof and dustproof protection. It easily copes with all climatic conditions and different types of terrain. BEC 7.4V/3A output brings more torque for high voltage servo.
The developers also focused on weight reduction. The PRO version retains the two-speed transmission with DIG system, front and four-wheel drive modes and rear winch. In addition, it adds electronic disconnection of the rear stabilizer bar.
All five servos are equipped with metal gears. The front portal gear covers are made of brass to increase unsprung weight and improve the car's climbing ability.
The shock absorbers, which have a larger diameter and a special surface treatment, are also modernized. The Challenger PRO uses the original body design and adds a multi-layer matte finish.

Must be purchased
To operate the model, you will need four AA cells (pencil batteries) to power the transmitter, a 2S-3S 3000-5000 mAh LiPo drive battery fitted with a Dean-T power connector and a suitable charger.
