The Stampede HD RTR RC car model is powered by a Titan 550 DC motor and an XL-5 controller for powering 2S LiPo batteries. Additionally, it is factory equipped with an Extreme Heavy Duty kit for high durability and an exclusive clipless body mounting system. Everything for operation is included in the package, including the transmitter, drive battery and USB-C charger.

The construction with a nylon chassis provides high strength, durability, and the model is light and agile at the same time. The proven Magnum 272 transmission with an adjustable friction clutch is used to drive the rear wheels. High traction is ensured thanks to the placement of the engine behind the rear axle. The excellent driving characteristics are due to the precise geometry of the suspension, and in combination with the long lift of the shoulders, you can overcome even more demanding terrain.

The regulator with three driving modes guarantees fun for adults and children thanks to the possibility of limiting the power to 50%. Control is provided by a TQ 2.4GHz transmitter with precise control mechanics. Of course, a wide range of tuning parts is available, including complete spare parts.

Extreme Heavy Duty kit installed

The factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty suspension and drivetrain kit is made from the toughest materials Traxxas uses.

Clipless bodywork

The unique system of fixing the body with beaks in the wheel arches allows quick and easy battery replacement, and the clean look of the model is not disturbed by the clips. Unlike traditional posts with clips, the body fits the clipless bracket with a much larger area, so it won't crack.

Construction

The chassis is made of nylon, which is filled with glass fibers for greater strength and toughness. The chassis is spatially shaped to have high rigidity. The engine with gearbox and differential is located at the rear of the model. The drive system forms a compact closed unit, which makes the Traxxas Stampede RC car model an undemanding model.

Gearbox, adjustable disc clutch and planetary differential

The gearbox, disc clutch and planetary differential are enclosed in one compact unit. A gearbox with a friction clutch reliably transmits engine power to the axles, the Magnum 272 differential planetary gearbox has gears made of hardened steel. This system requires absolutely minimal maintenance. There are pinions and sprockets with different numbers of teeth, so you can fine-tune the model for both speed and technical tracks.

Friction clutch

The Revo Spec Torque Control friction clutch ensures smooth power transmission and is adjustable. A properly set amount of slip protects the drive train, while not reducing the acceleration of the model.

Oil dampers

High-lift oil shocks use dual X-rings for perfect sealing and perfect running. Robust design in combination with high oil volume can absorb even hard impacts in difficult terrain. You can tune the dampers to your liking by adjusting the springs and changing the viscosity of the oil.

Wheelies

Thanks to the rear bar with wheelie wheels, you can enjoy driving on the rear wheels without worrying about the model tipping over. In addition, the durable nylon wheel holder provides extra protection for the engine and transmission.

High ground clearance

With more than 10 cm of ground clearance in the center of the chassis, you can go places and overcome obstacles with the model that other RC cars cannot handle.

Wheels and tires

The Stampede rides on large chrome All-Star 2.8" wheels. The unique rubber compound of the Talon tires has high grip on a wide variety of surfaces including dirt, grass, concrete and rocks.

Servo steering

Traxxas 2056 standard size digital servo waterproof with DC motor and nylon gears. For water resistance, the servo box is fitted with a seal.

Powerful Titan 12T engine

The car model is fitted with a modified Titan 550 12T DC motor. The motor has 30% more power than conventional 540 series motors. The rotor at the back of the motor contains a propeller that blows air into the motor and effectively cools it.

Traxxas XL-5 LVD Electronic Controller

Traxxas XL-5 LVD waterproof electronic controller with three driving modes, support for modern high-capacity LiPo batteries and easy control with the EZ-Set button. The XL-5 LVD controller is equipped with a training mode that limits full throttle to 50%. Thanks to this, novice drivers or children can gradually familiarize themselves with the features of the model and prepare for the full power of the car. Thermal protection, gold-plated connectors and incredibly low internal resistance are the currency of this regulator.

XL-5 LVD controller modes

• Sport : Default mode, forward, braking and reverse are possible.
• Race : Mode suitable for racing. Forward and brake is possible; reverse is not available.
• Training : Mode suitable for children or novice riders. It is possible to drive forward with power limited to 50%, brake and drive backwards again with power limited to 50%.

Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz RC Kit

The model is controlled by a two-channel Traxxas TQ proportional steering wheel RC radio, operating in the 2.4 GHz band (interference-free operation). The transmitter is powered by only 4 AA cells.

There is a rotary knob on the transmitter that trims the steering (so that the model goes straight if the steering wheel is in the center position). The status of the batteries in the transmitter is indicated by an LED. Reverse can be set on the transmitter on the throttle and steering channels.

TQ receiver

The Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz three-channel receiver ensures safe driving without interruptions. Easy pairing with one button. Status indication by LED diode.

USB-C charger

The package includes a NiMH battery and a modern, fully automatic 40 W USB-C charger. The charger allows you to charge 6 to 7-cell NiMH batteries with a charging current of up to 4 A.

The USB-C charger can be powered by any USB adapter and connected with a USB-C cable. However, for full charging performance, it is necessary to choose suitable components, see recommended accessories.
