The Traxxas Slash is a powerful, fully assembled 1:10 scale RC model car with 4WD drive and a top speed of up to 96 km/h. The model is powered by a powerful Velineon 550 AC motor controlled by a Traxxas VXL-3s speed controller.
The car is equipped with electronic stabilization clipless body and durable Extreme Heavy Duty components. The package includes a Traxxas TQi 2.4GHz steering wheel transmitter.
The AC motor provides the car with higher performance, has a long service life and requires minimal maintenance. The model has a carefully tuned chassis with independent suspension, thanks to which it can easily handle different surfaces. For driving in wet environments, the model is equipped with waterproof electronics.
The regulator with three driving modes guarantees fun for adults and children, thanks to the possibility of limiting the power to 50%. Control is provided by the Taraxxas TQi 2.4GHz transmitter with precise control mechanics. The transmitter supports the transmission of telemetry data and can be retrofitted with a Bluetooth module . Of course, a wide range of tuning and spare parts is available.

AC drive
AC drive increases maximum speed and acceleration by up to 60% compared to other DC motor drives. Improved efficiency, high-speed ball bearings and an internal cooling fan give the motor a long life.

Clipless bodywork
The unique body attachment system using beaks in the wheel arches allows for quick and easy battery replacement and a clean look of the model. Unlike traditional posts with clips, the body adheres to the clipless holder with a much larger area, so it does not crack.
Oil dampers
High-lift oil shocks use dual X-rings for a perfect seal and smooth operation. The robust design combined with a high oil volume can absorb even hard impacts in difficult terrain. You can tune the dampers to your liking by adjusting the preload of the springs or by changing the viscosity of the oil.
Traxxas TQi 2.4GHz receiver
Traxxas TQi 5Ch TSM RC receiver with telemetry for Traxxas TQi transmitters. Simple operation, pairing with a button. LED status indication. The receiver has integrated 3-axis MEMS sensors for learning the position of the receiver. The receiver is also equipped with two connectors for connection of telemetry sensors RPM (revolutions) and V/T (voltage/temperature). Furthermore, a telemetry extension module can be connected to the 4-pin connector, into which you can connect up to 6 more sensors, including a very accurate GPS speed sensor.
Traxxas TQi RC Kit with Bluetooth Ready
Traxxas has prepared for you a brand new series of two-channel RC kits with Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth module (sold separately) will allow you to connect the RC model with the clear graphic application Traxxas Link, which you can install on your smartphone for free.

The Traxxas Link App is a powerful application that gives you complete control over the operation and tuning of your Traxxas RC model. Traxxas Stability Management
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) allows you to experience not only tremendous power, speed, acceleration and high-speed cornering. In addition, it ensures much easier driving and control on slippery dusty surfaces, even on ice or snow!
A 3-axis MEMS3 gyro and an accelerometer are integrated in the receiver, which evaluates the model's movement 100x per second and corrects the direction of travel by precise interventions in the steering of the front wheels. Traxxas TSM does not limit engine power, you have 100% control over the performance of the drive unit. Algorithms are tuned for each model separately. The level of assistance is set using the multifunction controller on the transmitter, or in the Traxxas Link application.

Must be purchased
To operate the model, it is necessary to add 4 AA cells (pencil batteries) for the transmitter, drive battery and charger. The model can be operated with a Traxxas 2S-3S LiPo drive battery with a capacity of 5000-5200 mAh. The battery must be equipped with a Traxxas iD power connector.
The model can also be powered by a portable 8.4 V NiMH battery with a capacity of 3000-5000 mAh. NiMH batteries are not demanding on precise handling and are therefore suitable in cases where the RC model car is operated by children.
Accessories for normal operation
For the normal operation of the RC car, you need tire glue, silicone oil for the shock absorbers and a set of allen screwdrivers.
The bead of the tire is glued to the rim with tire glue. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear.
Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, with the fact that even after hardening, the glued joint remains flexible. Do not use ordinary instant glue - it is not flexible after hardening, and cracks would gradually appear on the tire around the rim.
For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor or the worm in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large.
So-called repair kits are supplied for these cases. In the range of tuning parts, piston rods with an extremely hard TiN (titanium nitride) coating are delivered to all shock absorbers.
